Friday Recap Series

Abigail Flores worked at CTV Channel 11 for four years, beginning her journey as a Studio Crew Member in her freshman year of college. Through dedication and hands-on experience, she advanced to producing live show content, refining her skills in broadcast and storytelling. With a passion for graphic design and digital media, she took on the new role of social media manager from 2023-2024, leading a team of social media coordinators to increase engagement and expand the station's online presence. Together, they developed content strategies, fostered audience engagement, and highlighted businesses in the Fort Collins area.

The Friday Recap series was a weekly video segment created to showcase and summarize content from the week, designed to boost engagement and keep audiences informed. Developed collaboratively by the social media team, the series featured creative storytelling techniques and dynamic visuals.

The CSU Housing social media account, in collaboration with Braiden Hall and Academic Village as trial communities, served as an essential platform for providing updates on housing options, important deadlines, and community events. As the Social Media Coordinator, responsibilities included managing content across platforms, engaging with students through interactive posts, and designing flyers to promote housing events and resources—especially for incoming freshmen. The focus was on raising awareness, fostering community engagement within housing.
